Pre-K - 2 (Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade)

The Classic Pre-K - 2 programs run from early April through mid-June and consists of eight-to-ten Sunday afternoon practices (no session Easter or Memorial Day weekends). The focus for the Classic PK-2 is having FUN and learning the basic lacrosse skills through childhood games like Sharks & Minnows, Jedi & Stormtroopers, Capture the Flag, Hungry Hungry Hippo, etc! But we also play games!

Our Grades Pre-K - 1 (Little Patriot's League) is a great introduction to the sport and requires no equipment. Loaner sticks will be provided if you don't already own one. In this program, we utilize a variety of different tools to teach and engage players without the need for them to have developed stick skills.

Our Grades 1-2 (Captain Parker's League) players wear full equipment (see Youth Boys overview for a full list) and have a full in-house league, and each year we try to set up some additional scrimmages with other towns. All players new to this program will be provided with a properly strung Stringking lacrosse stick that will enable better success.

All players are required to be a member of Mass Youth Lacrosse (MYL membership fees may apply.)
